I've had this problem repeat itself twice now and not quite positive what the issue is.

Taking a standard E37 ECM from MY09, I performed a few cal flashes successfully. When I load up Scan & Tune V8 and perform a full-flash I get the following errors.

$06FF = $checksumfailure

Any restarting of the laptop & Flashscan V2 has only led to additional errors when trying to full flash again.

$0534 = invalid serial number immediately after attempting

if it will proceed to the next step, it will erase and then send a 'no data recieved' error

$0540 = OS mismatch between 12630187 & 0.


Anyone point out why this failed twice? One ECM was out of an 09 HHR [L4] & the other out of an 09 Silverado [V6]

Is there anyone to unbrick these units? Hate to lose the licenses for them.
