Default AutoVE, OS v3, WOT tuning interaction?

The more I read through past posts I've found, the more confused I have been getting. Can someone please clearify this for me?

OK, I am using Custom OS v3 with MAF disabled and have been doing AutoVE tuning. I've got my Ben #'s looking good in most places except values around WOT.

Back in the ol' days, I tuned in the VE table the best I could with Nogo's calculations, then adjusted PE vs RPM for WOT tuning. All of this was done while utilizing the MAF, so the upper part of the VE table was not really used when it switched to PE. Now I need to tune the rest of the VE better.

Without the MAF enabled in OS v3, what is the better method to tune WOT? Acording to the AutoVE setup, B3618 is set to 14.63AFR or 1.0 EQ. This was done for less interaction while tuning in the VE table, I believe. My assumption is the on OS's v1, and v2 you modify B3618 for WOT, but for OS v3, you can just use B3647. Is this correct?

I've got some more ?'s about Semi open loop and STFT, but I want to get this understood first.

Similar to "standard" SD AutoVE tuning, couldn't one set B3647 to 13.0 and dial in the VE all the way from idle to WOT at all engine loads?

When running in AutoVE the car is running on b3605. Have the you checked what your injector duty cycles are at wot?
You also need to be aware that your mixtures will change depending on what gear you are in at wot due to the pcm lagging behind the motor..

I tune in 3rd and check that its not to lean in 1st and 2nd and too rich in the upper gears.
