I used this feature after installing an ECM, and the truck would crank, but not start. No security light, it was out. Just wondering if this has happened to anyone else. It is very possible this was an ECM issue, though it programmed no problem.

Change the seed key/VATS relearn timer in the tune file to 1 key cycle for 15 seconds as well as the scan tool relearn.
This still allows a "married" ecm to a truck but gets around the 3 cycles of 10 minutes.
Tony, are you saying that you have not had any luck with the VAT relink feature in the tune tool?

I am saying that when you set the ecm up for the customer if the key does not take then the re-learn will take 30 minutes, so I have chosen to shorten the process.
