    Question 2000 gmc k2500 454

I see quite a bit of discussion about fuel pressure regulator issues, and leaky injector issues for my truck (had since new). One question I have not seen the answer to here, or in my four volume factory service manual, is: How long should the fuel rail pressure hold? One hour? Four Hours? I am aware it needs to remain for a period of time, but what is an acceptable period of time? Thanks!

Thank you. Based on your reply, I ran a pressure test this afternoon, and pressure held above 50 for 25 minutes; was down to 20ish after a couple hours, so that much appears ok. Not bad for 140k miles and original fuel pressure regulator and injectors. Guess I will continue troubleshooting. Thank you again, joecar.
