1994 Firebird compatibility

Greetings all!

I have a 1994 Firebird and would like to know if EFILive V4 will work with this vehicle. My Firebird has a V6 3.4L SFI 'S' (8th character of Vin #) engine, automatic transmission, and the ECM interface has a 12 pin ALDL plug with the serial M pin.

If V4 is compatible with my Firebird, does anyone have a vehicle description file that will extract DTC's and real time senor data for this vehicle?

Use A257.ds for vehicle with automatic trans.
Use A258.ds for vehicle with manual trans.

The A258.ds has already been done for EFILive and is called GM258_L32_Fbody.xml

Thanks Paul for your reply.

Since I have an automatic transmission, does this mean that I can not use GM258_L32_Fbody.xml with out first modifying it based on the A257.ds file.
Where are the ds files located?
Is the ds file format readable with a text editor?
Do I basically compare the two ds files and modify the existing xml file using EFILiveV4?

I'm pretty sure the data streams are very similar.

Take a look at this thread for more info on the *.ds files (yes they are just text files)
