Installing ECM old one was junk

Ok so I got a buddys 05 lly here that had a bully dog in it and it locked the ecm to ware thare was nothing that could be done other then getting a new one. I pick up a new/used one from a vendor. My question is am i going to run into problems with it because its not programed to the trucks Vin number. Is thare a way to do this with EFIlive V2? If so how. Ive never have had this happen before so im just asking before i start and run into problems if any.

You may or may not have problems. It will, at a minimum, require a relearn for the anti-theft system. Email me and I can send you the procedure.

If you have the old ECM, we can give you core value for it. Did you buy it from us?
