    Default Charge System Fault on a C5 with RR

    Do i have to send it back?

    Car charges normally, but gives this error. Any way to fix?

    Got more details on the error? Never heard of that. does the pcm have issues?

    Brand new from moates...

    I believe it gives p0638

    Is this a 512K or 1Mb PCM?
    There is several different service numbers for the 1Mb PCM, I know some of the truck ones don't work right in CTS-V's and Holden's as they are missing an output driver on the PCB.

    I figured this out. Since i was doing a 2004->2002 conversion i needed to change pin 75 to pin 52 or something like that. Generator Field Duty Cycle.

    Yeah... i always forget to post what I find.

    alldata and mitchell have the wrong pinouts.. the only way i got it sorted was through the dealer data!
