    Question Updates and such...

    Hey guys,

I have loaded and functioning as designed V7.5.7 build 180 and V8.2.1.Build 170

ON the site you have V7.5.7 build 201 and V8.2.1 build 191, no problem, it looks like an update is possible or needed.

When I click on Start, EFILive, V7.5, Tools, Check for new Update

I get a nice popup box that says it is checking for new updates. It thinks for a bit and then very nicely says, Nope, there are no updates.

Um, why did it say no? Did I screw up something again?

No you didn't screw up. The 180/170 release is not "upgradable" to the 201/191 release.
You need to download the latest software manually and install it manually. Once you have the 201/191 release installed, you can then use the "check for updates" for future updates.

In the new versions, the check for updates is on the Help menu in the V7.5 software and on the main screen of the v8 software. You need to update V7 and V8 independently.

    Regards
    Paul
