    Default WOT Spark Retard

It's a 350 running a 411 w/ 12212156 operating system. At WOT the spark retards to single digits. All torque management & reduction settings I can find are set to either the highest or lowest settings (which ever is appropriate). Tune and Scan files attached. I see a lot of threads on this subject but do not see a solution yet.

I finally solved it. Here is what I learned: Set Burst Knock parameters to max values. Turn off and set all Torque Management parameters to their max/min values. I zeroed out all ECT and IAT tables and their modifiers. And, I smoothed out the spark maps, minimizing steep slopes. One thing I observed is the ECM anticipates where it is going and will average several nearby cells; probably a GM algorithm to reduce the chance of warrantee work. After finding a good spark map I set the optimum Spark Table equal to the High Octane Spark map. Now my actual WOT spark is within 1 or 2 degrees of the High Octane Spark table.
