SUPER NOOB W/ MAJOR ISSUES! Please help

I purchased some parts for my 08 Duramax last year and just got around to installing everything. I installed EGR Delete pipe, pcv re route and down pipe back exhaust. I also have a EFI Live and had tune made by Nick at DuramaxTuner. Here's where the problems start....

I cannot get the EFI Live to communicate with my truck using v7.5 on my laptop. I used a buddies laptop at work and finally was able to connect to the truck w/ 7.5 but it would not install the new tune into the truck. I was able to get the tune installed in my truck using V8. The DSP5 switch works, I can hear the difference when I switch tunes BUT the check engine light is still on and the display reads "engine power is reduced". Now I can't get either program or either computer to hook up to my truck. I had to get home from work so I went ahead and limped it home, I turned the truck off and tried to restart it and it does nothing. I hope what I wrote makes sense. I am VERY new to the EFI program. I need someone to walk me through some steps to try to get this worked out. PLEASE HELP!

I think your tune is locked, your going to have to contact your tuner.

I think I talked to you on the phone... man the easiest way to solve your issue is to give Nick a call...its a very simple fix and he could walk you right through it.
