    Default filter setting

im trying to figure out how to auto tune the VE table using the RR but im a bit confused at what needs to be entered into the filters.

    for example im in table B0101 in a 2002 f-body ls1 cal.

I click on the filter icon and up pops filter set 1 and filter set two tabs each contain 4 main boxes

    Have a read thru this: >>> RoadRunner-FAQs <<<

I think you just use a transient filter.

I always filtered out RPM below idle
when WBO2 not active & high throttle transitions.

    calc_pids work well for filters.

ok, this may seem a bit dumb but I went out started the car with the efilive tuner open , RR on and connected, the efilive scan tool connected and viewing data. now if I go to set the filters on the RR I cannot select anything in the drop down. what am I doing wrong? do I have to go to the calc pids and copy and paste into the RR filter directly?

    Was the scan tool recording?

All valid pids being recorded should be available.

I know for sure I had it on pause (just viewing data while I was trying to get it setup) I thought I tried while recording briefly before shutting the car off but I cannot say 100% yes I will try
