    Default LB7 Lope Tune

    I got an LB7 duramax and wanna make a lope tune for it. but i dont know where exactly to start anyone with any advice

    there are several ways to do it but an easy way is to increase the mm3 in the idle area of the main fuel table.

    Throttle based injection quantity. Go to 0% at 600rpm and put 50mm3 in that cell.

    i would start with the throttle based one first.

    if you do some logging then you can find out how much mm3s and MPa your truck uses at idle and change only the corresponding cells. i hi-lighted the average area but it may be more or less depending on temp, altitude, age, fuel, etc. logging will show you where you are at. the idle table for temp and the throttle table are the easiest ones to modify as no logging should be needed and is easy to revert back when you get tired of it

    Thanks man for your help as u can obviously tell Im new to this and just trying to learn the ropes and just out of curiousity does a lope tune really screw up the injectors

    It sure isn't gonna help em any being shot from open to closed so rapidly.
