    Default Commanded AF

First I want to say I do not have a wideband on my truck yet. I do have an LM2 that is currently at my shop but I also dont have the LM2 - FSV2 cable yet. Im going to have my wideband u and running by this weekend for it.

I found under Mixture>Parameters>B3606 Maximum Enrichment was set to 10.5.... I changed it to 12.8 went and did a pull and commanded AF would be between 12.2-11.3...

I Went to Mixture>PE Modifier based on RPM and found where my 12.2-11.3's were in that table. I changed them to 12.2, I havent gone back out to do another log.

My question although I dont have my wideband is it actually commanding out an AF of 12.2? Im just wanting to make sure Im safe and not getting to far ahead. the Long Term fuel trim on the last pull where both 0.

    Hi Fresh,

The description of B3606 is this: "Maximum enrichment when in hot fuelling mode"

What you really want is B3618, set your desired AFR in this table...

of course, commanded AFR is matched by measured AFR (wideaband) when the VE and MAF tables have been corrected.

When PE enables, it is commanding whatever B3618 contains...

(for PE enable, see B3616 and B3608-B3613)

what you will see with the wideband depends on whether the airmass/airflow tables are correct (B0101 VE, B5001 MAF).

Truck feels so much better. I need to check the logs for knock etc.

I did notice if i have my laptop V7 scan will log my commanded AF, If i take the V2 with me back and forth to work and do scans and upload them from EE into scan the commanded AF is crossed out. I take it the handheld alone will only do the PIDS on the screen? I uploaded the PID list like stated in the install.

Also when i flash the truck it resets my clock every time, rather annoying but i can live with it.

You have to edit the pidlist to use the correct AFR pid for your ECM/PCM.

    What year/model/ECM is this...?

    2001 Chevy Silverado 5.3L, LS1B ecm.

Like i said it works fine in the scanner on my laptop but a few things are crossed out in the handheld scanner logs. I uploaded the PID's for the ecu in the beginning just like in the "how to set up your v2" thread. Just easy to take the handheld with me back and forth to work and come home to look at the logs. When I get a chance I will stick my truck on our dyno just havent had time yet and still wanting to get use to EFI Live.
