E39 Operating System Compatability List

Is there one yet? I'm a bit weary about picking up a random E39 ECM and reflashing it with ours. I can't buy an ECM through GM since they are 'on restriction'. Here is my 'best option' right now.

OS on ECM: 12648907, 2012 Chevrolet Traverse 3.6L
Replacement ECM's OS (or at least the part number car-part.com has listed): 12643248, from 2012 Impala 3.6L

We stopped updating the list (well, the pdf file) once the software had the ability to check before flashing if it was ok. Besides, it was really more an issue for the E38 & E67 ECM's.
If you stick with the same Service Numbers from the ECM then you'll be safe.
