Default 2004 LB7 no communication with the ECM

I just got my EFI V2 today and was playing around with it. I was trying to load a tune in and at some point it had an error. Now it will not communicate with the ECM and it gets stuck on the checking status thing. It is saying connection to the ECM has been lost. I have tried to reflash and get the stock info but it is dead I think. Anyway to recover this ECM or is another one in order? If it is recoverable what steps need to be taken?

Also when it auto detects the PCM it is not detected.

After slowing down and thinking about what happened I think I hit the stop button while it was tuning. My girl friend also thinks this is what I had done since she was setting there watching. I know I didn't continue with stopping it but it seems its still blank? As a last ditch effort I guess I will see if a Tech2 can recover it today.

Have you tried to read the ECM?

Yes and it will not read it. Says PCM not detected after the auto detect and then fails the status check.

If you were doing a full flash how far did it get? If it got at least 20 seconds or so into the flash before it was stopped then the ECM should be recoverable. If that is the case then you can pull the vehicle battery for 30 seconds and try a full flash again.

Make sure you did not blow the cig lighter fuse. We can take a look at it for you.

I don't honestly remember how far it had gotten into it. I have tried the battery trick. Even left them off all night and still no go this morning before work. I did check the fuse for the cig lighter and I plugged the Edge CS back into the DLC and it comes on but does not recognize the truck.

If you run out of ideas, you can ship us the ECM to diagnose, or we can do a core swap.
