    Default error code $0502

    I just received my Auto-Cal and after installing the software successfully I went to read the stock tune in my 97 Vette. After following the hook up instructions I scrolled down to read and hit ok. I got an error code $0502, does anyone know what that is? If anyone does what is the procedure to get rid of it so I can read my stock tune? Any help would be appreciated.
    Thanks

    $0502 = script file not found;

    Do you have V7 build 204 and V8 build 195 installed...?

    Does your AC have firmware 2.07.27 installed...?

    Did you do this: start V8 S&T, goto BBx, goto Tuning, configure which ECM/TCM you're interested in, do Program All (down arrow next to Program button)...?

    I have V8 build 195 installed, should I also install V7 204?
    I have firmware 2.07.28 installed
    Didn't do the third item but then again I don't know how to.

    Thanks for responding

    Ah, I meant builds 205/196 and firmware 2.7.28

    You need V7 only if you're viewing log/tune files.

    Start the V8 Scan and Tune (S&T) software, click BBx, click Tune, create an entry for your ECM or TCM, or use the existing one, delete all others that do not pertain to you, click Save, click the down arrow next to Program, click Program All.

    Now there is builds 206/197...

    install those (skip V7 if you don't need to view logs/tunes) and then do this:
    Start the V8 Scan and Tune (S&T) software, click BBx, click Tune, create an entry for your ECM or TCM, or use the existing one, delete all others that do not pertain to you, click Save, click the down arrow next to Program, click Program All.
