Default Help figuring my log out

    Just a couple questions. My car is 08 LS3 A6 Vette..... E38/T43

    This run I did

    60'....1.63
    330...4.303
    1/8....6.549
    MPH...112.93
    1000'..8.467
    1/4.....10.06
    MPH...140.25

Why are my gear changes lined up with the rpm?

Is there a way to cut out the run in the log and set time to line up with time slip?

My mph is not the same maybe from my tires growing when going higherspeeds?

Can the tune file be switched to mph vs. kmh?

Iam recording using BBX....... If I use my laptop with is record faster or better?

How many can you log BBX and Laptop before it lags or too much?

Heres a copy of my run

In the tunetool go Edit->Configure Display Properties...

hint: click on the column headings to sort/group units so you can select a slab; then go rightclick and select change the units for Data, Row or Col.

When finished, click ok, restart the tunetool.

Thanks JOE. Im trying to understand does the car shift by RPM or Speed first. I have M&H racemasters and I know the grow alittle on higher speeds that probably why the end of the 1/4 there is a 10 mile difference.
If you look at my log you can see shift points are not at redline.

Also you can see throttle shut here and there

    Any opions?

    Thanks Drew

Both WOT MPH and WOT RPM have to be met in the tune before the PCM triggers the shift.

Is the throttle physically shut in reality...? If not, then something's wrong with the TP sensor or its wiring.

In your log you can highlight the portion you want to keep and click the Crop button at the bottom (the button on the far right; hover over it to see the text hint), and then save the log as a new file.

Did you figure out Metric/Imperial units in the tunetool...?

Looks like you got wheelspin on upshifts.

In BBL you select as many pids as you want as long as the pid meter on the bottom of the config screen does not turn red (red means too many); it should not lag, from your E38 your V2 should be reading 40 frames/second (which is what I see in your log).

Your trims tell me your airflow model (VE/MAF) is not tuned; also, do you have the various tables for your injectors...?

Yes I got the units changed......... Thank you

Yes I did feel some wheel spin

My car is speed density tuned could that be why?

    What tables for injectors?

If you look at 3rd to 4th gear change was at 6550 rpm (tune is set at 6900) and 117mph on log but it shifted right at the quarter t 6900rpm in car

Just wondering why the timing is off. How many pids can be logged before lag occurs?

    Thanks for your time Joe
