Re-Flash after Smarty 67 tuning

I bought a 2008 6.7 Cummins that was tuned using a Smarty 67 box tuner. Having reloaded the stock truck tune back in is it safe to flash in an EFI Live tune? I do have what I know to be a "clean" stock tune for the truck, should I flash that in prior to loading the EFI Live tune? Any feedback would be appreciated.

Yes flash the clean file first and make sure everything works right and then tune away.
