Thread: {D2216} TTC Lock Up Pressure Ramp function

  1. #1

Default {D2216} TTC Lock Up Pressure Ramp function

This table is referenced as NM across the top and RPM slip up the vertical axis. I assume that the RPM slip is the amount of slip that the TCC is actually slipping as it ramps into lock up. The more slip the more pressure is applied as noted in the table. The NM torque reading starts at 1000 NM and goes to 6000. This is 737 ft/lbs to 4427 ft/bs! Can this axis be for real?? Now granted we have some cars making 900 ft/lbs reported by the delivered torque pid but how does this table work below 1000 NM?

Using a triple disk clutch and wanting to speed up the engagement time and figured that from 0 RPM slip to 1500 can be increased some amount.

Anyone play with this or can explain the axis correlation?

    Thanks

    HT

My NM scale looks nothing like that! Mine goes from 1000 to 6000 NM!

Something's wrong with this table in this OS....

I've moved this table everywhere with no help on triple disk converters. With them you want pretty much 0 slip or they will chatter.

I'm having the same problem with a 6l90 in a zl1. This is the only os I have seen with this scaling. All others are "normal" torque values. I need this to be corrected so that I can tune this triple disk converter.

Old thread bump. Just came across this with my OS. Is there any update on the scaling?
