Isn't Winders8 still in RC status?
I have consumer trial version and never installed it yet and probably will not.

Nobody at EFILive has installed the RC yet. I wonder what MS changed this time so things stop working

i run windows 8 on my slate. it's pretty much windows 7 without the start menu and touch screen built in.

i probably wont be running it for too much longer.

Seems like Windows7 only just came out , they do say the years go by faster as you get older.

I look forward to the future where I'll be able to tune via a windows 8 tablet. Intel based of course so not Windows 8 RT.

I wish we had like a 7" IPS LCD tablet style with slideout QWERTY EFILive controller and could display and make adjustments to tunes right on the controller, no other computer dependency.
    Ah, dreams and wishes!

Really? I think looking at a tune on a 1980 x 1080 monitor is about right, going smaller seems to go against logic.

Anyway, I'm pretty sure Paul isn't about to drop everything and develop for tablets.
