    Default Wont shift at wot

    2008 Silverado 5.3L 4 speeds,, now it has a 6.2L engine. it runs pretty good, shift ok under normal conditions but at WOT it will pass the 6000 RPMS and it would not shift to 2nd gear, i need to release the accelerator to allow the trans to shift to 2nd gear.. those are the current tunes on the truck..

    what do i need to look into?

    When mine did this the transmission output speed was off even though the dash read correctly.

    I take it that the shift pattern used is "Normal"...?

    D1101 Normal WOT 1->2: 47 mph ---> what is that in rpm...?

    Try this (assuming Normal shift pattern):
    - lower D1101 to say 40 mph;
    - lower D1061 to say 35 mph;
    - lower D1021 to 5500 rpm;

    retest with those to see if you get the WOT 1->2 shift; and then incrementally adjust them back up until your see the WOT 1->2 shift at the desired rpm

    ( always keep D1061 below D1101, and likewise for other table pairs ).

    No worries cool.

    Make sure your VE and MAF are correct so that the PCM can calculate engine torque correctly... the PCM uses engine torque to calculate the transmission line pressure;

    keep an eye on the pids TRQENG and TFMPRS, make sure these go up sufficiently as engine load goes up (to prevent internal slipping in transmission).
