    Default V2 cable

The OBDII interface cable will not stay attached to the V2 unit any longer, something is broken or missing from the unit, the cable end looks okay but it will not latch into the V2 unit, kind of sucks if cable comes out during a flash.
There use to be something in the socket that latched the cable end, socket must be broken.

The little clip on the RJ-45 plug is probably broken.
It is shrouded by a boot.

I had to by a pair of crimpers for repair.

Oops my mistake, forgot to say the tab is intact on the cable, sorry bro, wrong diagnosis.
First thing I checked. I didn't want to come out and say the V2 is falling apart, but hey if it fits maybe I should have.

Okay will try, but looked last night and it looks like I will need to wait for blood sample before sending a e-mail.

    Got it sent finally.

Okay feel like a dork, I got to looking at the socket and noticed there was something not right down in the socket, got some needle-nose pliers reached in and pulled out some black electrical tape. Seems, and I have no idea how, some got into the socket and was keeping the connector from locking into place. DOH! (butt kick)
