Thumbs up Is it a bad thing when front tires come off the ground?

Well this is my first Thread and I thought I would start by introducing myself. My name is Mark Broviak and I am an ASE Certified Mastertech. I am currently working on starting a new performance division at the shop I Work at. I waslucky enough to get a demonstration of the EFILive tool in action and had to have it. We do a lot of LS1... Performance stuff so it was a no brainer. Our shop project truck which is owned by a coworker is a great example of what you can do with this software and scan tool. It has been a two year long process to get to this point and it was all worth it. I would like to personally thank the great people at EFILive for this wonderful tool!

Sorry, forgot to explain the title, When we tuning the truck's trany with the software we where having trouble because it was just spinning the tires clean through second gear so DJ decided to try it in 4x4. We launch the truck at full 8psi at 2600 rpm and the truck jumped up and then kinda did this squat launch manuver and then the front end started to hop like a rabbit. The guys at the shop said there was about three inches of light under the front tires. It was scary to be inside it when it did it. Next time I will get it on camera! We can't wait to get it on a dyno to see what is getting put to the ground.

I don't think it's bad; it's impressive, and even more so for a truck!!

    Default Thanks Guys!

Thank you for the warm welcome! I have been doing so much learning on this forum in the last month. It is definitely the best support community that I have ever seen. I have been doing driveability work for about eight years and now I truly understand how I was doing my job. Nobody ever really wanted to tell me how the PCM's did there job they just did but with this software I can go right to the source and see it with my own eyes and that to me is amazing. We have been having a great time with it on this truck as it is our learning curve. I look forward to interacting with all about tuning issues. I have been truly impressed with how far ahead of the game these guys are! Cheers to all!
