i just solved my misfire under wot problem i was having which turned out to be detonation. so with the help of material on the net i pinpointed the problem and it turned out to be that using protruding spark plugs on a boosted vehicle creates hot spots and with high cylinder pressures allowed for premature ignition of fuel. the solution was to use ngk bp7ef <(2 steps colder from std) and gap them accordingly. this enabled me to use higher spark timing and kr disappeared . i wouldn't mind knowing if tuners get better results by using this spark plug even on n.a motors.its probably not news but good to recap on.
