Downloaded a tune from a 2006 VZ 6L Thunder Ute and recieved the following unrecognised PCM error. I am assuming this is a custom HP Tuners cal as car is mafless.
Can somebody maybe confirm this for me please.

It's all good until it goes "Bang"
Not 100% it's an HPT COS, but it definitely isn't an EFILive supported calibration and will require a full-flash to stock OS.

Yeah its a HPT Custom OS.

i have a car at the moment that says the same so how can i go about tuning it ? in a 2007 ve e38.
You need to flash a stock OS over it. I dont think the OS that the other guys and the OP has was used in 2007 VE. If you post what you read out of it someone can probably tell you what the stock OS number would be
ok ill have a look for the OS next time i see the car
just was not sure if i have to get a new ecu or write over it

is that enough info for someone to help me out.
i have the same year car so can i full flash my tune onto his E38 and just update the VIN ?
12612381 is the OS you will need to flash in to that VE.
