Thread: brand new V2 crashes my HP

    On one of my laptops I have to keep installing the old driver. Good news is it doesn't blue screen it the v2 just won't power up. It's a new acer laptop

    i get this error also, the only way i can use efilive on this one computer is if i dual boot into 32bit windows 7

    This is the same thing happening to mine. I started another thread and then saw this one so I will sub this one.
    2015 3500HD crew cab long bed, 6" fabtech, slightly tuned, emissions intact.
    2005 dmax ccsb, EFI live tuned DSP 5 Full built motor, S471 billet single, More better built trans this time. and lots of other things.
    1984 CJ7 powered by a 2000 LS1. 4L60E.
    2012 Jetta TDI 6 speed manual, (yes the dirty the bastard haha)
    2003 Jetta TDI,
    1986 K10 LQ4/4L80E

    No need to dual boot.. you just have to hit f8 just after the bios boots and a menu will appear.. choose disable digital signature enforcement and continue to boot.

    Download the driver set from moates.net and you will be able to use it no problems. be sure to NOT boot with the usb connected or it will crash...

    You don't have to download the drivers from moates, the EFILive software includes them.

    Yep did that three times .when I start the unit I hit f8 and selected disable digital signature enforcement and hit enter and still doesn't help.

    I finally deleted efi live and did a clean install and installed the older driver as admin and never had an issue since.
