V2 is not found when hooked up to computer. Screen is light up, but blank

V2 screen lights up when connected through the usb port. all lights come on and go off then the fourth orange light flashes 2 times and it wont do anything. When i try to connect to computer it says NO DEVICE CONNECTED. Help me please

Start->All Programs->EFILive->V8->USB Device Manager,

click Uninstall USB Drivers,

click Install USB V2.02.04 (i.e. the older driver) and follow instructions;

report back.

ok thanks. I tried that, and when it says unplug and replug v2 for driver installation to begin nothing happens when i plug it back in. When I plug in the usb port on the computer a balloon pops up and says USb Device not recognized One of the usb devices attached to this computer has malfunctioned, and windows does not recognize it. Thanks for your suggestion though i appreciate it

Have you tried connecting FlashScan to a different USB port on your laptop?
Have you tried installing the EFILive software and USB drivers on a different computer?
If FlashScan still does not work on a different computer, then chances are it will need to be returned for repair.
