I fllashed my 1999 5.3 truck PCM to a 2001 operating system and upgraded to COS3, everything went great, except I have the battery indicator flashing on and off in my message center. Does anybody know how to disable that light?

theres a certain one mil you have to disable because 99 didnt use them. I had the same problem ill look through my bin and see which one it is and get back to you.
Thanks, please let me know. I have been looking at wiring diagrams to see if they did something different with the alt wiring.

Scan which code it is setting and turn it off. I believe it is p1638 but i could be wrong
I'll check it out today. I didn't think to scan it because a the MIL was off.

yea it doesnt show a MIL but i believe on that parameter you need to set it from a C to an X on reporting
