    Default Calibration or OS?

If you take a tune from Tunefiledepot, a stock tune, and want to use that tune for a base tune to create tunes for someones truck, what is more important to try to match up. For example, should you try to match the calibration numbers to the persons stock calibration or is the OS more important to try to match up.

I know it is best to use their stock read but if you do not then what is priority, matching calibration or OS or neither? Thank you.

Match the calibration. Just make sure it has the right trans.

Unfortunately many trucks out there have had tuners on them previously, from what we've seen none of them restore the ECM back to true factory stock which can cause problems. Short of going to the dealer to get a real stock tune flashed in, the ones on TuneFileDepot are a good choice, these are clean stock files.
You must remember to change the VIN to match the truck after the ECM is flashed if it wasn't changed in the tune beforehand, the theft systems works off the VIN.
