Default Value showing on V2 not showing the same on V7.5 when doing log data review

I'm using the V2 to log data and have selected ETC Throttle 1 & 2 % in Scan and Tune. I see normal throttle % values from 5% at idle to 40% under power as expected on the V2 screen.

When I review the log file on the laptop the selected pid's GM.ETCTP1 & GM.ETCTP2 show very low % values from 2% to 14% but never what I'm seeing on the screen of the V2...

Did I get pid mix-up here????

I take the scan log and transfer it from the SD card to the desktop and click on that file which opens the scan tool. The data tab and even exporting it to excel never show the correct data???

    Any thoughts?

    Thanks,

    Hi John,

    I pm'd Tech Support.

Which build version of V7 and V8 software are you using...?

    Joe,

    8.2.1 Build 203

    V7.5.7 Build 211

I'll get you my V2 firmware tonight but it was up to date as of the weekend.

    Thanks,

The data values you see on FlashScan are correct.
The data stored in the log file is correct
The data being displayed by the V7 Scan Tool software is incorrect.

The data displayed by the V7 Scan Tool is being incorrectly divided by 2.55.
For example, if the data value is actually 40%, the V7 scan tool is displaying 40% / 2.55 = 15.68%

The V7 software will be corrected in the next update.

Meanwhile to fix the problem, you can download the attached zip file and unzip the contents into the following folder:
    On Windows 32 bit systems: \Program Files\EFILive\V7.5\Configuration
On Windows 64 bit systems: \Program Files (x86)\EFILive\V7.5\Configuration
overwrite the existing files in that folder.

Then restart the EFILive Scan Tool software.

    Regards
    Paul
