    Default noobie question about widebands

    with V2 can i just wire the wideband straight into the black box, or do i still need the lambda cable too?

    The wideband O2 sensor connects to the wideband controller;

    the wideband controller connects to V2 (using a null modem serial comms cable).

    also, is there any way to use the wideband at WOT instead of OL? for every day driving that is.

    Hi, as far as I know, the only way you could use a wideband sensor to do tuning on the go is with the RoadRunner PCM.
    E85 is NOT flex fuel.

    2003 Chevy S10 4.3L LU3 LS1B Auto
    48 LB injectors
    Race Proven Motors 2114 intake
    T70 turbo.

    I'm not sure what you mean...

    do you mean for tuning or monitoring...?

    or for real time correction (see what nevinsb said)...?

    How to i connect the LC-1 module to the black box when there's no serial plug? my laptop doesn't have a serial plug either.

    You can get a specially made LC-1 null modem V2 cable from TAQuickness

    ( or you can make your own if you're handy with ethernet wiring )

    I cant find a 6 pin ethernet cable. Can i just adapt the wires straight into the orage pins?

    It's actually an RJ12 connector.


    No, it does
    not go to the orange pins.


    You will need to cross the Rx and Tx wires ("null modem").
