Default Speed limiter setting on E78 PCM - Chevrolet Silverado 2500 HD 2011

    Hi folks,

if I set on the E78 the H0156 "Speed limiter source" to PCM - will this bring me full control over the
limiter via PCM or are still any other modules involved or affected?

I have to limit a 2500 HD Chevy to 55 mph due to gross wight reasons on car registration.
So I´d need only a lowering of the limit.
    Has anybody done that already?

I´m asking, because the customer has a 200 mls trip to bring me the car for reprogramming and I don´t want to disappoint him, if it does not work.

    Many thanks in advance

    Kind regards

    Marco

It will work, and yes you must click PCM control to take effect.
