    Default what to do for MAF after doing auto VE

    I am still working on my AutoVE tuning but I want to run my MAF. Do I need to do something different to calibrate the MAF or do i need to run the calcve in reverse.
    Also after doing autoVE do I paste the new VE table to my original tune? Do I set the PE table back to 1.0? Sorry about all the questions. I am trying to finish all this up before the snow.

    Do AutoMAF...

    ( with same tuning tune you did AutoVE with, enable MAF, disable VE, keep OL/trim disabled, use wideband to create a BEN map for the MAF table )

    Never set PE to 1.00 (regardless of tutorial)(there is no good reason to set it to 1.00).

    Yes, you can copy the new VE to your original file.

    I dont remember how to enable the maf or disable the VE table. Do i just plug the maf back in then turn the MIL enablers back on for the MAF? I never changed anything in the engine DTC processing enablers . Do i set the MAP to no MIL to disable VE? sorry about all the questions.I am confuse now abouth the processing and mill enablers and which actually has an effect on the inputs or outputs for tuning.

    To fail MAF: set both C2901,C2903 to 1 and set C6001 P0101,2,3 to 1-Trip

    [ you want P0102 or P0103 to trigger, this is what fails the MAF ]

    [ if you set C6001 P0103 to Not-Reported then the MAF will not fail; if you set it to 2-Trips it won't fail until the next trip ]

    To enable MAF: set C2901,C2903 back to stock, leave C6001 P0101,2,3 at 1-Trip.

    To fail VE: set B0120 to 400 or below (this causes MAF to be used exclusively).

    To enable VE: set B0120 back to stock (typically 4000 rpm).

    How do i use the wideband to create a BEN map for the MAF table? Do i put MAF grams/s into the columns and rpms in the rows. Do i need any filters then?What do i paste this info to after I have recorded all the cells.

    Goto tunetool, goto table B5001, click on the blank tile in the upper left corner of the table, and do Copy With Labels.

    Goto scantool, goto Maps tab, edit the map properties, on each of the Row and Col tabs click Paste Labels;

    on the Row tab use MAFFREQ Hz, on the Col tab use any logged pid (MAFFREQ Hz will work);

    on the Data tab use your BEN pid (which depends on analog or serial AFR/Lambda)...

    on Data, Row, Col tabs checkmark Show Units.
