Which looks exactly like an E39 in a shiny case. I always assumed the DI V8's would be using the E39 too when they came out.
I wonder how much badge engineering is going on here (given the E39 is a Siemens ECM, or was it Continental).

Ah, actually I never considered that Howard. I mean the LML ECM 'looks' nothing like any other EDC17 ECM out there, in fact it looks like something that would come out of Kokomo, but it's the most evil ECM on the planet.

In looking at a basic underhood shot (not a clear view of the ECM, you can only just barely see it), it looks like the 2014+ pickup trucks will be running the same ECM.
