Can't copy and paste from excel to v7.5?

I recently purchased a Samsung laptop that came with Windows 8 installed. I have had a few issues here and there, but nothing other than this issue I couldn't get resolved.

I have been in contact through email with Paul at EFILive about my issue, but I am still uncertain what the problem is. I am trying to copy injector data from an excel file and paste into the proper cells in v7.5. My copy and paste functions properly on notepad and word documents, but it will not copy data from my excel file from FIC into B3701,B4005, etc.

I emailed the file to Paul and he was able to copy and paste it with no issues. I know how copy and paste works, but it's just not happening. Anyone else with this issue?

I know it sounds kind of like a noob problem, but with copy and paste functioning normally with word documents and notepad it seems like a compatibility issue with v7.5. Is there anyone else using Windows 8 that isn't having any issues copy and pasting?
