Default Scaling the ls3 map sensor??

Was doing some messing around the other day wondering if it would work.

I recently finished my 441 build for my Trans Am. Have it all tuned and dyno done (love the CALC.VET) using the ls3 intake and a ls1 map. Obviously that works good, but I would like to be able to use the ls3 sensor as it bolts in and fits the hole without modification. I got a harness from Lingenfelter for the swap, and did some research and found the numbers to put in the scalar and offset in the tune. I checked map kpa before flashing the changes with the ls1 sensor key on engine off kpa was 99. Just plug in the ls3 sensor and kpa is 85. Flashed the changed scalar and offset and had a koeo kpa of 95 or 96 cant remember for sure now, but obviously not identical to the ls1 sensor.

I figured that i could continue to mess with the numbers till I get the same kpa as the ls1 sensor then it should read and function the same througout the operating range, but was wondering before I did that if anybody else has done this. And if because the ls3 sensor has a different range and will read to a max of 128kpa if there may me any side effects to doing it. Cant imagine so, but just curious.

Scalar number used was 128.125 Offset was -.3 from 2010 camaro
