Does anyone know if this pid is a direct reading through a strain gauge of sorts or simply a calculated value?

I think it is calculated, and will be off if changes to the mm3 tables are made. There is no strain gauge on these trucks.

It is neither a strain gauge or calculated. It is merely a reference number used to determine fueling. In stock form, it may be representative of flywheel torque, but when you start changing things, it may as well be hieroglyphics.
