    Default 6.7 surging at wot

surging.efisurging2.efiI'll start off by saying I am still trying to get hold of all the basics of this diesel tuning. But the only stupid questions is the ones not asked. I have a 2009 6.7 I'm playing with. After flashing it with a mild tune it is surging at wot in 4th gear up. I can see the pilot and main injection duration jumping so I am assuming it lies with the timing. I have attached a couple data logs if someone wouldn't mind looking at them and fill me in to what is really going on. Thanks

The values being reported back are unrealistic....

5000uS of duration and 2000+mm3 on commanded fuel???

Be sure your software/firmware is current and that you have the CMC2200 controller selected for logging.

Here is mine. I am new but looks good to me. Don't know how the 5.9 and 6.7 differ though.

I wasn't showing the values to put in...I was showing the tables that need adjusting.

Those values I posted are from a factory tunefile.

Ok, I wasn't looking for something to copy and paste. Just something to compare mine to. I am new and trying to learn, reading all I can. I have tried to look for tune files good and bad not to copy but to learn though comparison but 6.7 files seem to non existent on the net (or at least as far I can find). thanks for your input les. You got me pointed in the right direction hopefully.

Your not going to find modded tune files readily avail on the net yet...it's so new that most aren't prepared to give out hard work yet.

Yeah I thought so. That is why I was wondering about comparing in 5.9 files to it. Didn't know how different they really were.
