    Default data logging

I need a little help with the data logging. I have set up and ran some logs with the scan tool, must say I am really liking EFI live. I had set up 4 pids on each of the 3 screens and ran and saved the logs. I am able to go back and view the saved log but I have to view each screen seperatley. I notce in the example that Doghouse diesel has in their scan for dummies manual that he is able to view all 12 logged parameters on the same screen. Can someone tell me how to do this? I really appreceate the effort that he put in to those manuals for us trying to figure all this out.

    Thanks

    Garry

Take a screen shot so we can see what you're looking at.

Here you can see I only have 4 pids on one page and I have seen examples that have all 12 on one page. Tabs B and C also have 4 pids each recorded on them.

Another weird deal I ran into. I copied the log file from my laptop to a thumb drive then put the log onto a desktop computer. The log file will not read on my desktop but if I take the same file and read it from the thumb drive on my laptop it works fine.

I think your issue is that you need to shrink the parameters of EACH group small enough to put multiple PID groups on your page.

Thanks, I figured out that on one of the tabs A B or C I can create 3 smaller charts that will monitor 4 pids each on the same page.

Any idea why my desktop will not read the log once it is tranfered to it from the lap top????

You can log as many as you wish on each page...just the more you add, the smaller the font and harder to read.

Be sure your desktop is running the most current software...build 211 IIRC
