I am logging KR and spark advance in my calc vet pids. I figured out how much throttle cracker, throttle follower and desired airflow affects driveabilty. Now just trying to work out the little bit of bucking when torque convertor locks down. Its nice have a big cam idle at 700 rpm. People just think you got headers HAHA.
    Thanks for the help joecar

I have lugging at low rpms when the TC is locked up. My question is there a way to get the tranny to shift 1 2 3 normal lockdown tc in 3rd for the 40 to 50 mph then shift to 4th at sya 55 and then have the TC lock up in 4th at 60? Has anyone had any luck with this? A4 with 3.42 gears

Yes, you would edit TCC apply/release tables (for 1st, 2nd gear set the apply speed to 255, for 3rd and 4th gear set the apply speed to what you want, set the release speed lower).

Anyone have an example of this in action that works? I have big cam and tuned most of it out just looking at options. Thanks
