    Default Need heelpp ASAP Truck wont start.

    Ok so i am programing a 04.5 lly and while programing it froze half way through the flash. Now it will get all the way to where it is programing and it stops different places 7k 15k 20k 25k you get the drift. Any way then it says retrying last block. I have tried everything it seems unplug radio fuse info fuse pulled the whole radio out jumper cables on while flashing unpluged batteries for 5 min 15min 30min and 10 hrs no change have tried the alt key low speed high speed together not together no good. have read alot on this and it does not have after market alarm or remote starter. i have tried restarting my computer and flashing that way. not sure what else to do any help would be much appreciated have a guys truck sitting at my place and he needs it asap.

    Is your software up to date? There was an issue with lLY's doing this during a flash that was resolved awhile back.

    Yes thanks for the help all is up to date double checked it last night at like midnight. Hoping that was the problem.

    Looks like you are all up to date.
    Maybe try reflashing through the V8 software instead. But to me it looks like something on the communications bus is interrupting the process, maybe try pulling the BCM fuse out as well. Things that are known problems are devices like iPod adaptors or XM radio adaptors that are wired on to the communications bus. Unfortunately they might not be disconnected when you unplug the radio fuse.

    i dont know where the bcm fuse is nots seeing it. also can i use my 7.5 files in v8 i dont ever use v8 so not sure

    I don't know where the BCM fuse is either sorry.
    You can use your V7.5 files in V8 no problem.

    So a very quick run down on flashing with V8.
    Open the program.
    Click on 'Tune' (or press F3)
    Then when a new window pops up, choose 'Open' down the bottom.
    Find the file you are trying to flash in and open it.
    Then click on 'Full Flash' as it appears that is what you are trying to do.
    Then click the "Full Flash' button again and see how it goes.
