Wiring differences truck to F body PCM?
Trying to figure out if I did something wrong in tune or have a bad PCM or wiring differences in truck to F body harness?
Motor is a 2002 5.3L DWC with TH400 trans, I used a 2002 Chevrolet Silverado Truck Automatic LM7 5.3 Litre (12212156) with Camaro manual trans segmant swap and diagnostics. But it won't run right and sets no codes. Then I find out his origanal harness and PCM is a F body LS1 6.0L and runs? Supposedly a stock PCM tune but throws a lot of auto trans DTCs...

You can full flash that PCM to truck or f body tune. The pcm's aren't different but a truck harness and a f body harness have some different pinouts. What is your harness out of?
I assumed the engine harness and PCM were all from one vehicle before I mailed him a PCM...
Harness is out of F body.
What would be the best way to build a .tun for 5.3L truck engine, TH400 trans to F body harness? Or is it simple enough pin out changes.
Motor is already in truck and running, so harness has been worked on for fitment and injector issues. Just won't run right with the PCM I sent, starts and idles but acts like fuel cut off when reved? So is it there differences in .tun file?

Start off with a 5.3 truck tune with OS 12212156 and do segment swap from a 2002 6 speed f body OS 12212156. Thats probably the easiest way or just start from a 2002 6 speed f body tune OS 12212156. Either way would work, I would do the first way myself.
I did do it the first way. So I must have something wrong or a bad PCM...
I have a list of pinouts using what I found for the 2002 5.7 Fbody,Ybody & 2000 6.0 Silverado.

I could not find anything with all the pin assignments for the LS1 pcm.
This is based off an Fbody list that's been around for a while.

So solution to a .tun file is build a 5.3L out of a 6.0L manual F body file?
You are running an auto trans with a manual tune?
