    Cool whipple 2.3 tuning help

Hello - newbie here with friend that has efi live and usually does diesels. Any suggestions for a tune. I've heard that whipple's plug and play isn't that great. 4200 ft altitude if that matters. Everything else stock. Thanks in advance.

I'm not talking about you I'm responding to the poster............

If he doesn't have a good knowledge on gas engines or any experience with gas engine calibrating he should figure that stuff out first before stabbing at a boosted motor. I see he has one post...

Thanks for the replies guys. I just have some basic engine knowledge. My friend has pulled my stock tune and is going to look at tweaking before I go on a road trip. I won't have the charger until the end of the month. From what I understand whipple sends a module to flash the scan to their specs. I'll ask my buddy to do some research in the meantime also. Do you suggest waiting for whipple's flash, then pull the tune again to post it? The whipple tech told me the kit comes with a fuel system booster, no new pump and they go by my vin to figure out if it needs different injectors and so far I don't know any further on it. Everything else is stock for now. I'm just trying to get some advice ahead of time. I'm also working with a local shop that has done quite a bit of performance engine building and worked with bigger blowers. They do have snap-on scanners for every day stuff but trying to work with my friend on a final tune. I'm not looking to race it, mainly some more power and torque for pulling without the extra heat of a turbo and I'm still a bit of a kid and might turn a tire over here and there. After laying down six large on the charger things are a bit tight. I just want it smooth without much chance of going lean (heat's the enemy - maybe some hold over two stroke paranoia). Any help is greatly appreciated.
