Fast Idle

ok heres the deal i have a 2008LMM 3500 hd thats has an efi live tune currently installed emissions controls deleted, I want an fast idle option installed to be activated via by the cruise control when i want to but would like to keep the factory elavated idle. If efi live can't do it but the dealer can will the dealer over write the tune that's currently installed on my truck???

If the LMM is like the previous generations, you can have the dealer enable the governor (adjustable high idle). If they full flash the ECU and overwrite your tune, then you can read the new one out, and make the same adjustments to it as your previous tune. Not super convenient, but it should work. Just make sure you have a copy of your current tune before you hit the dealer. IIRC, they don't need to overwrite the full OS, just an adjustment with a Tech2. But that is on the LB7, LMM may be different.
