HI, I can't find any posts that explains each of the file formats efi uses (*.tun, *.ctz etc...)and the intended purposes or uses for each format.
Any tips would be great... thanks...

* .tun are OS/Cal files in EFILive's V7 file format. This has been the standard since EFILive V7 was released many years ago (I believe 2005, maybe 2004).
* .ctz are OS/Cal files in EFILive's V8 file format. This has been the new standard since about 1.5 years ago, EFILive has decided on *.ctz as being the next file format. It is also the file format needed to use a FlashScan V2 to flash an OS and/or calibration via BBF (standalone flashing).
Hope that helps, basically now I only use the *.ctz format because you have to do the editing in V7.5 anyway until the V8 tune tool is released. Makes life easier and I dont have to keep 2 copies of the same file (*.tun and *.ctz).
