No sorry they are not, the Van used a specific OS that we had some troubles getting DSP5 to work with.
I no longer monitor the forum, please either post your question or create a support ticket.
good to know what other vehicles that have duramax's are not supported.

FYI, you can supposedly move a few wires around and flash a pickup tune into the van ECM.
so could you just pull the ecm and bench flash it with the truck tune and not have to deal with the wires? could be easier for some people that did not want to cut into them.

Sure but thats not the problem, if you can read/flash the ECM with a van tune in the truck then the OBDII comms are just fine. Its the OS and the pinout on the ECM thats the problem. It sounds like if you swap the pinout on a van to match that of a truck, you could full flash a truck OS and use that.
Im just hearing of this now so I have no idea if it works, thats just what I took away from JoshH's post.

The 2008 Savana Van is supported for tuning. They are not supported for our Custom Operating system to allow 5 position switchable tuning.
We offer tuning of 2001-2010 Duramax vehicles as listed here http://www.efilive.com/index.php?opt...148&Itemid=147

I've never tried it, but that is my understanding from what I've read from someone who did. Now that I think of it though, it was an LBZ rather than an LMM. I'm not sure it would work on an 08. On an LBZ, there aren't many wires to change. I studied the pinouts from our 06 van and compared to a pickup of the same year, and there were just a handful of wires, maybe 7 or 8.
