Default How do I convert Lambda to AFR?

I'm trying to set up to log for the first time. I'm following E38 vve how to. It tells me to set B0141,B0143,B3618 to AFR numbers. But EFIlive is set to lambda. I've read that working with lambda is better so I guess I'd rather learn how to change AFR to LambdA #'S. I am using an LC-1 connected with a serial cable if it matters. v2 will show me both so I guess I got that part Right.Any help would be appreciated.

It will depend on the fuel being used.

    AFR=Lambda X Stoichiometric Ratio

So assuming ULP ( Stoich = 14.68 ) and say you have a Lambda of 0.86, then the AFR would be 12.62:1

    Transposing, Lambda=AFR / Stoich

    Using the above example, 12.62 AFR / 14.68 = 0.86 Lambda

You can change the units in EFILive under Edit -> Properties.

    Default New Problem

Ok I tried to flash my ecm with the updated tune to log data per vve how to. I connected and tried to verify ecm status and I have a message saying that I need to launch v8 and update to newest version. My boot block is 2.07.04 and firmware is 2.07.35 which from what I can tell is the newest
version. If I open v8 and check It says I have the newest version. Here is a copy of my tune.
    Z06 logging attempt.tun
plus what pids should i select with an lc1 in serial mode.

ok maybe its because its a .tun file not a .ctz but I can't convert it. For some reason it says my v2 is not compatible with this software.

When you flashed the firmware into the V2, did you reformat the V2 config file system and reload the new script files?

PS: Don;t forget to take a current copy of your setup when doing this.

    Errrrr.... Uhhhhh.....
    Maybe?
Aparently I had a copy of v7.5 build 204 on my desktop and I clicked on it by accident returning me to build 204 instead of build 211 like i've been using.
reloaded build 211, everything flashed fine. I am a little confused though on pids. I loaded all pids in yellow section for e38 and all in blue for ls1b.
considering It's what I'll be using mostly. Now I gotta figure out which ones to log by your tutorial swingtan. Can you tell me what chart to use to monitor my ben pid cells while driving (B8???).Confused on script files though. Can you explain? I believe I did because it worked fine. I flashed options and settings per tutorials I found to setup fsv2.
    Thanx!
Appreciate all your help, And if I can ever help please ask.
