    Default compatibility question

    can u do scanning well data logging on a 2003 saturn L300 with a 3.0?? i seen in the list it will do a 2.2L but what about a 3.0?

    Scanning should be fine, just select it as a VPW controller (such as an LS1 etc), v7.5 will then validate whatever PID's it supports and you should be set to go. (I'm assuming it's a VPW ECM), I also had no idea they had a 3.0L, that wasn't one of GM's engines was it? I'd heard of the 3.5L.

    im not sure if its a Gm engine or not i just know it offered a 2.2 4cyl and 3.0 6cyl if memory serves me right ... the L200 had the 2.2 and the L300 had the 3.0.. i think reason I'm asking I'm out of state right now and working on this car and trying to figure out if its worth have my efilive sent here or just pay 100.00 at a shop to do it
