I have recently read about the LS9 (12638427) camshaft yeilding 47rwhp on otherwise stock LS3.
Better idle quality and good power below the curve.
    Specs are 211/230 @ 050 and .558/.552 with LSA being 122.5*

Very thankful for your info. I will be sure to post it up when I get my hands on a copy.
For a cam only crate engine to boast 100hp it'd want to be good is my guess.

Thanks guys, much appreciated, sometimes that research takes quite a bit of time to compile, but it's good to have it all in one place for future use.

MarkR8, yes I have seen some good increases with the LS9 cam. An dirt cheap as well.

    Thanks Hog,

I have looked into the Chev Performance catalog as well as their website. I was going to fork out for a controller but the problem is they are not compatible with production cars.

I have a HP Tuners file but can't upload it should someone be ambidextrous with EFILive and HPT

I think it would depend on which car it was for. The Chev Performance ECMs are exactly the same as some production ECM's except they would JUST have the engine calibrations with zero emissions calibrations, so they would HAVE to say that the ECM's are not compatible with production cars, or people would start driving these ECM's in road cars.
The cal from those ECM';s will flash directly into the correct OEM ECM.

We need someoine with friends at a dealership, unless these ECM's come directly from Chev Performance already flashed, and are NOT flashed at the dealership.

Someone is going to have to ante up and buy the ECM with eth calibration installed, then pull the calibration. I wonder if these ECM's would be locked?

The ecm's are not locked and come already flashed from what I have seen. The dealerships I have done work for couldn't flash ecm's without a vehicle, none had bench harness's.
