Default gmpp ls3 525 hp stock file? controller package 19259261

Ls376 crate engine. 525hp version. Anyone have the factory stock tune out of this crate engine? Wont have access to the engine for a few days but would like to see the tune asap.

    Thanks.

This would be a nice calibration to have as the the LS376/525hp ($7700) is simply an LS3 with a GMPP ASA cam installed(226º/236º 0.525"/0.525", and the 480hp version is an LS3 ($6700) with the GEN3/4 version of the Hotcam 219/228º 0.525".525".
    $1000 for a cam swap?

I just installed one of these into a C6 ZO6 race car. I used the stock LS7 cal and just changed the size of the engine and the car fired right up and runs respectfully ok. It idles and all. I have not had it on the dyno yet to properly calibrate it, but I have had the car running long enough to go into closed loop and it was only running -3% LTFT up to 2500 RPM's, have not been past that yet.

The tune is not that impressive, owner wasn't happy with drive ability at all. I'll see if I still have a copy of it.

Really would appreciate that. I only want it for comparative reasons.

That is because if you found a GM tune for it, this is a ASA cam engine. It was meant for a race car and not a street car, I would imagine that driveability is going to suffer somewhat. We have one going on the dyno tomorrow for calibration, its in a race car though. I am going to try and make it as easy to drive as possible, but it has a 7.5" triple disk clutch so it there is not such thing as real driveability with it. Doesn't really matter much what another cal looks like anyways, just strap the car down and go through it.

My main issue is the lack of access to a dyno for the time being and I want mostly the fuel dynamics and spark tables to look at so when I do get it to a dyno I'll be closer than my current tune.
I have to drive 200Km to get to my nearest dyno so I figure those sections will assist me somewhat.
I had built the engine to the exact spec as the LS376/525 before it was a crate engine.
So in my case it does matter and would potentially save me some time.

Does anyone have a copy of this tune. Surely someone has a copy they can post up?

    Part number 19259291($315.77) gets you the calibration/ECM for LS375/525hp engine(rev limit 6600rpm),
P/N-19259261($1112.95) gets you a kit that includes everything to run the same LS376/525 engine, including the ECM (engine P/N-19259233-$7764.75).

BTW P/N 12480054($539) gets you the actual ASA calibration/ECM, but its for an LS1, not the GEN 4 376/525hp crate engine.

    P/N 19258768($6758.34)376/480hp crate engine(480hp@ 5750rpm/475lb/ft torque@ 4500rpm) uses camshaft 88958753 219º/228 duration@0.050" lift 0.525"/0.525" 112ºLSA

    P/N 19259233($7764.75) 376/525hp crate engine(525hp@ 6300rpm/489 lb/ft torque @ 4400rpm) uses camshaft
    88958770 with 226º/236º duration@ 0.050"lift 0.525"/0.525" 110ºLSA

    For comparison, LS3 crate engine p/n 19258770 costs $6332.94. Rated at 430hp @ 5900rpm/424lb/ft @ 4600rpm. It comes with cam 12603844 with 204º/211º dur @ 0.050" lift 0.551/0.522" 117ºLSA.
Note that this LS3 crate engine is quoting the SAE CERTIFIED power numbers, which is different than the way the 376/480 and LS376/525 crate engines are rated. I'm guessing the LS3 crate engines output would be closer to the LS376/480's power than it appears when comparing the numbers.

For instance, the L18 340hp 8.1 in the 3/4 ton+ trucks is the exact same engine as the HP1 marine engine, except it has a rating of 385hp.

The Chevrolet LS3 cam costs $130
The LS9 camshaft12638427costs $97.47 from GM Parts Direct.
    the GMPP Hotcam costs $430.60
    ASA cam costs $394.94

So to swap out cams, to add 45hp/14 lb/ft adds another $1008.00? Grab an junkyard L92/S3 drop in a cam and save some $$.

Maybe no one is sharing this calibration because it's rare, and because the person would have had to pay for it to get it????

All part numbers and specs are directy from the 2013 Chevrolet Performance Parts catalog. Prices are current day prices quoted using GM Parts Direct.
